1. Host City/Venue

Makuhari (in Chiba Prefecture) is the host town, and the NIPPON Convention Center (called "Makuhari Messe", a high-tech complex), is the venue for iCwes 11. The location is 30 km east of Tokyo Station and 40 km west of Tokyo International Airport (Narita).

2. Weather

The weather around Makuhari is very mild throughout the year and the average temperature at the end of July is about 28�C.

3. Visa

A visa is usually not required to visit Japan for three months or less. However there are a few exceptions. Please check with your Japanese Embassy/ Consulate to verify the status of international treaties with Japan.

4. Medical Service

You can receive the medical service in the emergency throughout the Conference. Inquiries should be directed to the Registration Desk.

A day-care room will be opened for future scientists throughout the Conference. Inquiries should be directed to the Registration Desk.
